I am a real world Airline Pilot, currently rated on the A320 Family. My flight career covers over 25 years of flying the Boeing 737, Boeing 747-400 and the A320/319/321 along the way. Having also followed along the developments in PC flight simulation since 1992 brought me the opportunity to become a technical advisor for the FSLabs A320 and now the FENIX A320.
The developments in PC flight simulation has been very fascinating and he level of simulation depth has reached a point where new flightsim pilots are struggling to learn to fly these complex aircraft. This is where I see the chance to help through my videos and livestreams.

The best way is not to use those APPs but go into your BIOS [UEFI] and switch off Auto Core Voltage and set it to Manual and enter the required voltage.
My experience is that the A319/321 is very floaty with Flaps Full, with Flaps 3, it is awesome if you have the runway. But that's an Asobo API thing.
Hello, i'm new to the X Crafts E Jets Family. I recently purchased the ERJ195 and currently learning the ropes. I noticed how your IAS is managed, but i can only get selected airspeed, i've made sure the aircraft is up to date on Skunkworks, but if i try and update it to the latest beta, it crashes as soon as i try to load it. Also, is it more realistic that you'd level out when climb thrust kicks in to increase airspeed or do you maintain a pitch up attitude?
Hi. For managed speed to work you must use VNAV. For acceleration, you maintain a small positive pitch and climb rate and allow the speed to increase.
@@Blackbox711 So, i use VNAV, FLCH for climbing and observe a small pitch up attitude, maybe 5 degrees pitch up to accelerate?

Very good video. One question: when you compare the Toliss with the Fenix v2. Which flare behaviour is more realistic? Since a short time I went back to the XP12/Toliss because I was frustated of flaring with the fenix (when you pull the stick a LITTLE bit to much, you're floating and floating.) And with crosswind, the Fenix is sometimes not to control on the runway. The Toliss seems for me more stable in flight physics and the Fenix unstable and light weighted as an Autoscooter.... What do you think about it?
Hi. The issues you described are noticeable to me as well. Indeed, XP12 has an overall more realistic aerodynamic behavior compared to MSFS.

Hi I use your 777 Bruner profile and it’s been amazing thank you. Can I ask though.. I have one issue, sometimes in steep turns in autopilot the yoke will start moving left and right and kicks the plane out of autopilot .. doesn’t do it all the time. Have you had this issue ? Thanks

Why SKGO andnot SKPE, it’s way more interesting and the airport is bigger, you need to come back and land in SKPE

If -all- I care about is depth of system simulation, engine sim and accuracy-how would you rate the FSLabs? The only thing I've found that comes close is the Fenix. Fenix is absolutely amazing but still lacks in some minute arenas. I don't want to spend $160 on the FSL without knowing a bit more about it and there isn't much out there
The problem with FSLabs is the fact that it’s for Prepar3d only. So if you don’t already own that plus some scenery/airport addons, the huge costs of getting the FSLabs don’t justify the minor extra features/accuracy. The FENIX has come a long way to meet up with FSLabs standards.

Hello… Very nice video. Thank you for sharing with us on this platform. Now it is making much more sense so as to what exactly is happening outside the aircraft whenever we are setting something inside the cockpit. So thanks a lot. Also… I had a small question that… Normally during Take off and during excessive pitch up and down in Air… I believe only the THS part is moving and not the elevators… However the elevators are moving for short corrections of CG movement. You may correct me if I am wrong. Because I just wanted to understand the elevator movement in air. When would it mostly move in relation to THS? would be great if you could make a video about it for pictorial presentation. Like for example.. If we take the flaps… Then does the THS whole alone move to again retr the aircraft or does that job is done simply by movement of Elevator… Stuff like that… It might be a little basic but wanted to have a clear understanding. Thanks in advance.

Looks like the sudden pitch-up behavior still exists on the PMDG 777 when approaching the runway. I have been experiencing it and it looks to be happening here as well.
been at this for longer then most are alive. the rule of msfs has always been be 1 bar (deviation) BELOW glideslope if you want to have a decent landing. period. no exceptions. and on some runways you have to be even lower, to not be high. msfs going back to 1998 always place you higher than you have to be and force you to be literally nose down over threshold then hard fast flare... now that you know, you can fix all your guided landings with this common sense trick. ms hates him for this, ask him how!

Hi! Visualxp is a huge game changer i've been using it ever since it came out. You should take a look :)
I've had trouble with trim not staying consistent since i first started playing msfs in 2020. Would be in perfect trim one period and suddenly it feels like it's out of trim. Developers have to do a lot of in the background work to make it behave like they want, and i've noticed it a lot lately. Feels very artificial, the pitch has always felt very twitchy so i guess they change control authority during different phases of flight to make it behave better. Developers are not to blame ofc they have to work with limitations the sim have.
Maybe I missed it: Is the weather radar part of the PMDG update? Or is it an additonal app?
It's Asobo Weather Radar which is used on default aircraft, but PMDG modified it a bit.
How can I turn off auto-trim to use it manually?

I still don't get why Asobo is making flight sims. MS has been okay since FSX. Now it's so complicated, in each and every aspect. And the hype for nothing is real. Dire Straits made a song for this long time ago. It's labelled Money for Nothing.

When you landed you said: "343 FPM, thats less than real life the other day." I'd love to know how you know your exact FPM in real life? Do you look at the vertical speed right before landing and guess or is there another option?
In the 787 we can call up a maintenance page that has these exact values (touchdown vertical speed and peak g-load). That is important for determining a threshold for mandatory maintenance checks in case of a hard landing.

Guess it has to do with personal preference, but I don’t think the E-Jet cockpit was unusual dark. For me, the FF777 is too bright.

Hi, when you divert few minutes after takeoff due to an emergency, how can you reduce your fuel quantity to not land to hard ?
As you probably know there is no fuel jettisoning system installed in the A320. The aircraft is certified however to land overweight at its maximum takeoff weight. The only limit is that the touchdown should be at a maximum descent rate of 360 fpm.
HI, I used to have the HUD on the 787 but suddenly it has disappear from all models (787-10, 787-9 and 787-8 Kuro) Is anyone else having the same issue?

You did not say anything about the terrain after the flight, when your were using the drone cam going towards the pyramids. It looks terrible. The terrain/ terraforming is so important at HECA! Are you reporting it to TAIMODELS? Please do so. Thanks!
I definitely commented on the bad elevation model at the airport. It is missing the steep slopes. Also I commented on the bumps in the runway.

After seeing and watching the video, I had the opportunity to try it on my KSEA descent with the B77W. In the past, many times my flights were wasted because I was stuck at high altitudes while vectoring on my own. But this feature seems to be very useful to me. Thanks Captain & PMDG
